Especially for an edition of 500 IMO.
It's gonna be a stunner for sure though.

Stunning, no doubt. But I don't really feel like shelling out $500 to be 1 of 500 to have it.

I agree it's a large run but $500 for what will become an Iconic Faile piece as far as the whole art world is concerned. It's a drop in the bucket. This will be on my wall. My favorite Faile piece to date!!

Faile has many more "iconic" images than this one. Certainly there is the association with the ballet but anyone who thinks this is will be an iconic Faile image needs to check out some of their earlier work. Faile dog, bunny boy, Challenger, Mao, etc.

I'm sitting this one out entirely. Will be easy to find for face or below should I change my mind. Bring back the small editions.

switch out iconic with more accessible and you have my reason why this will be a sought after print after the dust settles in like a year. I didn't think the Fashion Chimps would vanish so quickly, but they sure seem pretty scarce these days.

^ agree with you on that.

Very female friendly but man the framing cost an inability to store in a sleeve will lead to many of these sitting in tubes.

500 is a lot either way and it's not like Faile's output is slowing at the moment. This will be all the rage...until their next release.

Maybe I should clarify that the Ballet made Faile prominent to the NYC elite art collectors. The will see this piece as iconic as Faile continues to transition from street artists to contemporary gallery artists.
