These look great next to each other.

Random tidbit to add to the discussion, Ansin confirmed on his twitter that the difference between the reg and the variant is the variant has a split fountain. Basically would love to see the variant on hand now (you lucky SOBs ).

Which is exactly why I got the variant. The colors will have a gradient effect and should be interesting to see in person.jkw3000 wrote:Random tidbit to add to the discussion, Ansin confirmed on his twitter that the difference between the reg and the variant is the variant has a split fountain. Folks having now seen the film seems to have tempered the lust for the print; or at least what people are willing to pay for it. TBH I disliked the movie so much that it diminished my pride in having scored this print. Still a stellar piece of artwork however.

Agree completely. Too many comedic attempts in the movie and I know it was meant to focus more on Tony Stark, but it still could have included more Iron Man. Especially disappointed with what they did with the Mandarin.
Yeah, I was pretty pissed after losing but then saw the movie. Didn't dislike it, but there were sooooo many things about it that annoyed me enough that I'm nowhere near as broken up about it. As in, if I can land it at cost (HAHAHA) or on the AP sale, sure; anything remotely higher and I can walk away pretty happily. Even then, I'd mostly be getting for Ansin's awesome artwork more than anything.MatchesMalone wrote:Folks having now seen the film seems to have tempered the lust for the print; or at least what people are willing to pay for it. I wouldn't be too sure about that, still going for the same prices as drop day on eBay from what I see!MatchesMalone wrote:Folks having now seen the film seems to have tempered the lust for the print; or at least what people are willing to pay for it. Definitely the best Iron Man Movie of the series. An Absolute thrill. After watching the movie I can understand now what Ansin was trying to depict in the poster and let me say it was perfectly executed.

Too many plot holes and bad moves by the director to be better than Iron Man 2.
Marvel upped the ante when it started shooting for continuity across the movies, and it's going to pay the price if it can't reign in their scripts properly.

Don cheadle and Guy Pearce are copied straight from the one sheet.JohnnyThunder wrote:Definitely the best Iron Man Movie of the series. An Absolute thrill. After watching the movie I can understand now what Ansin was trying to depict in the poster and let me say it was perfectly executed.
Really now? This may be a good comic book movie but its nowhere near as great as the first one.JohnnyThunder wrote:Definitely the best Iron Man Movie of the series. An Absolute thrill. Great print, crappy movie. Took this off my ISO as well. Things will come down in 6 months and itll go for about 100.
