This makes me want a Horkey Beasts of the Southern Wild
All these prints are themed from the Song of Ice and Fire books (Game of Thrones is HBO's adaptation). And from the pictures, Horkey is going to leave out the Game of Thrones lettering (Thankfully)!whl10 wrote:so does it not have anything on it that says game of thrones so it can be displayed as art print?
i dont know what game of thrones is all about and dont want to

I love that I don't have to say it's a Game of Thrones print. That makes it a bigger success to me.JonEwaD wrote:Seriously? JC Richard's print was great, one of his best which says a lot. That being said when I saw the tweet saying Aaron Horkey Game of Thrones print I was super excited and when I saw the print I was let down. If I wasn't told it was a Game of Thrones print then I would have had no idea. It's a wolf very pissed off at a leaf. Love Horkey, I've got his Pan's print framed but IMO I think this one is a miss.JKFink44 wrote:Finally, a print in this series release worth picking up! Another day of F5'ing...

and like I said in the other thread: I am so happy it does not say "Game of Thrones" on it. It would be cool to have some killer Mr. Horkey lettering, but not sure if I would ever hang a print for a TV show, even though I enjoy the show.hardman314 wrote:11 colors with metallics + horkey + giant wolf = win

Won't matter. Similar to the Moss Bride run and many, many people failed on that one. Regardless of intentions, this will be a "tougher" one to nab for sure.alittle wrote:Well, the run is huge for Horkey, no?
AHHHH... so that line along the bottom is water? I can see that now BUT... since the line is straight across, it still looks odd. Especially the way the water is handled where it meets the shore. Very odd. I love everything else about the print.
I don't like how many of the other prints have the "Game of Thrones" title in generic font that distracts from the print. Horkey could have done it right with a font but I'm just as happy it's void of it.
I want both of tomorrow's posters. A large run and a high price (warranted with 11-colors and size of print) will hopefully mean it stays up longer but I doubt it :/
