Great Job Jim!
I'm glad I made a small donation to PollockPosters.com to know when the on sale for this will take place.

The lettering on Pollock's prints has always been an issue for me. I always thought that it was the way it was because it's real challenging to carve lettering backwards into linoleum and have it look finished. AJ Masthay seems to do it very well though so is it a style choice then by Jim? Overall though I like this piece better than most of recent ones from JP. Of course we are all still looking for that 2 color tall formt again which I am sure he has gotten wind of by now.mbrennan wrote:finally a Panic pollock
the train is cool and the table cloth
but
....
the lettering made me vomit
jim really needs to work on his text
and the image as a whole does not work
just my opinion
I think just his recent lettering - too bland
look at atlanta 99 or shoreline or any of the phish pollocks - there is just no effort put into it lately
