I would send Frank an email with the photos and ask if that is his signature. He is a really decent guy and may get back to you about it
Hi Talkingdeads, and thanks for your response.
I reached out to Frank once before and he did reply. I didn’t want to be a pain emailing him again but I did just that.
He says yeah it’s his signature and not sure about the date. I read somewhere that he did sign some promotional extras at a later time. I also found a note on an old tube that was in storage, 2007.

I don’t know if the 10/03/22 sale should count?
I was an oddball copy… no numbers/ Artist Proof labeling… just signed.
Hell, Maybe it should .. I don’t know.
Figure it would go for more had it been from the 1st edition and not a mystery copy floating around.
Could be wrong…

Perhaps it's one of these?turnJBup wrote: ↑Sat Oct 08, 2022 2:48 pmI don’t know if the 10/03/22 sale should count?

I understand what you're saying, it's not one of the original 500 that were numbered. I feel the artist's sig is enough authenticity needed for me.
I added the notation that it was signed but not numbered.

Wow!
That unsigned destroyed copy on eBay sold for $1231 & $28 shipping.
Crazy.
I was intrigued at $510… I like to frame damaged prints…
But holychit, no signature and it looked like it was a paper airplane? Surprised.
