Because:

*Clever image a la Moss
*purty colors
*will look great in your beach home
*it's JAWS for Christ's sake
*Most importantly IMHO, the image appeals to the masses. There's no zombie / dude gettin' his guts ripped out / swamp moster / boobies / scary snakes / dying cosmonauts or anything else that will likely make my better half (and most of yours) go :vomit:
This.

Great points all around. At the same time, the edition size will still drive the price down in the future.

That is what folks said about the Stout SW set (edition of 850 plus APs) circa December 2010.

Yep. It's exactly why I wanted it. And it's one of only a few prints I have ever purchased on the secondary market.

Couldn't agree more, especially the last point.

Yes absolutely. I am the other people, I want to see a different poster. But yes, those are good reasons for all the hoopla.

I like Durieux's but I won't be satisfied until I have a Ken Taylor Jaws, complete with a shark.

Yeah but the same could be said for a ton of other prints out there, except replace 'Jaws' with <other classic movie of your choice>
