this appears to be for a festival in the UK. It took me a while to figure out where in the world Butlin's Holiday Centre was...lots more bands on the bill aside from 'ol saint Nick. I'll update those soon.

"...A festival Mecca for discerning indie trendies whose haircuts are too angled to survive tents, All Tomorrow's Parties throws the mother of all alternative music feasts - as usual taking place in a Butlins holiday centre over three days.
Each ATP event is curated by a different band or artists. Australia's Dirty Three are hand-picking the bill this time round, promising another eclectic lineup of envelope-pushing underground and established acts performing across two indoor stages.
Chalet and 'hotel' accommodation means you can shower whenever you like, eat the food you choose to bring and skin up without fear of wind gusts or your tent burning down. However, it also means you have to book in groups, so start calling up your mates to arrange it now.
Being Butlins there are loads of activities taking place other than cracking live music, including sporting facilities plus a cinema, a huge water park, ten-pin bowling and an amusement arcade..."

FYI...ATP also promotes the Don't Look Back series that invites artists to perform seminal records in their entirety, like Sonic Youth's 'Daydream Nation' @ Pitchfork this summer and other venues around the world.
Next ATP event is to be curated by Portishead on 7/8/9 December 2007 again at Minehead Butlins Holiday Camp.

All Tomorrow’s Parties takes great pleasure in announcing that the next curators for the Nightmare Before Christmas in December, 2007 will be Portishead. The influential Bristol three piece have confirmed to curate and play exclusively their first full set featuring new material for nearly 10 years at the event which is set to take place on December 7, 8 and 9 at Butlins Holiday Camp in Minehead.mmotorcycle wrote:This just made my day.
