I could see a few of these flipping, but honestly I think they are hitting a doorstep and staying for a while. This is a keeper, even with an extra. Knowing this is a first in a series of what will most likely be 12, I would hold onto the extra to trade for future releases.
As for the oversells and refunds, I think its bs that the people who got refunds are getting first shot at the next release. If you dont ccheck out in time and make the cut, you dont get a print, and should have to try again like everyone else. Who else does this? lame imo. Its just going to make it harder for any of to get the next edition. You win some an you lose some. I had a 12:06pm timestamp and am lucky i guess. If I had gotten refunded, I wouldnt have expected anything in the future. I hope that list is small because I'm loving this release idea and what Faile is doing otherwise. I'm excited to see what other images they select to release. I'm hoping for some of the older images. Should be a great Faile year!
I'm super stoked for this print and cant wait to see it in person. I cant believe they sold hand finished prints for $180 shipped with a super small edition of 100, with only 16-17 of each color. Great image and great start to this idea/release.
