Does anyone have any framing ideas for the regular, or has theirs framed? I am planning to have it matted and having trouble deciding the mat color. Black seems like one possible option, although a lighter / more neutral color could also work.

Wow, Laurent Durieux sure does charge a lot for his signature.

At least his OZ AP is much cheaper than his Iron Giant AP, which is selling for $300.

Wow, I'm assuming that his APs of Jaws will be like 500 then.

No. Jaws should be $150 or so. The APs of his older works are priced higher because he has less of them to sell.

I did a pretty simple frame-up on this one, but i think it turned out pretty great. Sorry about the paper, I took the picture before I gave it away as a gift.
Greyish brown wood frame and dark yellow mat.
(And $150 out the door, my framer is great)

Looks sweet. Simple works great on this poster. No need to upstage the image with the frame.

Nicely done. I should be sending mine to the framers next week.

I'm planning to hang onto both, now that I have them. Grab a signed variant from Retropolis - they aren't looking all that expensive anymore, given aftermarket prices. I received a first edition Oz AP from him a couple days ago, tubed up well, in great condition. :pint:

I still do not understand why this print is not worth more in the aftermarket. I have a variant framed up and it is one of my favorite prints. I bet if it came from mondo prices would be higher.

There is little doubt of that. It is a terrific print.
