my picks:
Gig poster
honestly could have been any one of 2 dozen of the posters on the first 2 pages of voting alone. A very strong year for quality design & illustration. I picked this one for it's integration of text which requires the viewer to look into the image to find the story.
Art
Lots of strong candidates in this catagory as well. Almost went with D*Face, but the intricate technique of creating etchings as exemplified in the making of video cemented this highly anticipated print as my top choice.
Cinema
this was my pick from the first time I saw it online. Clever & well illustrated, it's an instant classic just like his Jaws poster from last year.

nice picks electrachrome. gig poster of the year was a tough vote.. saw about a dozen I thought were good enough to win.
Congrats to Chuck Sperry and Aaron Horkey. Also congrats to Laurent Durieux and David Welker... both had multiple posters in the top 10 which is always impressive since they split the vote.

No surprise there, pretty much a complete joke aside from the gig poster category.
