That was a good read, been a while since I've seen Smith firing on all cylinders. I've missed it.

Well, if you're THAT confident in your decision making abilities... Haha.jkw3000 wrote:Democracy: it only works when my choice wins.
I'm definitely no Horkey guy. My wallet rejoices that his style just isn't appealing to my eye. And beyond my personal preferences I can definitely get my head around TWBB winning movie poster with its popularity and all the hype. The AP and gig poster picks feel like "straight-ticket vote" wins to me though. Not to say he isn't skilled or that they aren't great pieces, just not quite the best of 2013. But opinions are like assholes, right?

Whatever, he's got very supportive fans and that's cool. I've actually got more Horkey movie posters framed than any other artist. However, as someone said, the funniest thing to me is a movie poster that nobody has even seen in person is somehow the fourth best movie poster released in 2013.

Exactly! I am remiss that I didnt take the time to vote for AOTW more often.fredo wrote:Well, if we learned anything from this it's that if you like a gigposter you should nominate it for AOTW.
Big congratulations to Aaron for the sweep . I do own all 3 prints and like them all even though I didnt vote for any of them.
I do see some of the hype arguments going on and I wish people wouldnt vote for art they havent even seen....This makes absolutely no sense to me
You pretty much know the TT is going to look amazing, thoughPrintNoob87 wrote:Whatever, he's got very supportive fans and that's cool.
