Re: What is your latest proud print acquisition?

One of my favorite painters is the Argentine surrealist Leonor Fini (1907–1996) and I've been trying to pick up some of her prints when I can. I just lucked into a lithograph of one of her better known sphinx images (of which she painted many) from a seller in France and am awaiting arrival of this ...

Re: What is your latest proud print acquisition?

I got my Redd Walitzki "When All Is Breaking" print today - this was a timed edition where she took orders from 11/28- 12/1, the edition size is 26. Each print was mounted on archival masonite and then laser cut like her larger paintings are which is a beautiful touch. Very happy I could get one the...

Re: Murakami, Takashi

Any fans of Murakami who can get to NYC before January 17th should definitely go to the big show at the Gagosian Gallery on 24th street now, it is pretty damned amazing including a replica of a Japanese temple and two giant Oni statues. The impact of the devastation of Fukashima is very evident and ...

Re: Aguirre, The Wrath of God 14 Delort

Love this movie so had to get one . I've been admiring Delort's work for a while now but passed on Charlie Browns as just not my thing. But Herzog, oh yeah!! Now I will cross my fingers there will be one for Fitzcarraldo and then I am probably going to have to back up and get the Nosferatu that I wo...

Redd Walitzki. Congrats on snagging that painting. Have been following Walitzki for a while, as well. Was so bummed when I missed out on "Oh Sister" and "When All is Breaking." Won't let the next one I love pass me by! Picked up these two coasters paintings from La Luz de Jesus, figured they'd hold...

wow...some really nice stuff in the last few pages - congrats people!!!! :D I indulged a bit on "Black Friday" when I got an email newsletter from an artist I've been following for a few years, Redd Walitzki. Thought she had a lot of talent 5-6 years back when I started watching her etsy page but th...

Re: Walitzki, Redd

Redd Walitzki definitely needs some more attention over on this board, I've been watching her work for a few years stalking her old Etsy page and now she's showing regularly in galleries and has developed a really beautiful recognizable style of her own. She sent out an email to her mailing list for...

I really love how this shows both forms of the God of the Forest - I went ahead and bought one for a Christmas present for my best friend who is a huge Studio Ghibli fan, she will love it!
