Re: The non-poster/print art of Aaron Horkey
Nice hitch, Baker. Wish Horkey would do more stickers - he has so much great imagery that could translate well to the medium... and it would be easy to flood the market so everyone could get a piece!

Re: World of Whiskey
Anyone try Blade and Bow or Blade and Bow 22yr? Saw the 22 yr shelf, but for a buck fifty didn't have another thought about it... $50 is about my ceiling for any bottle of whiskey, so I certainly wouldn't be going in for such an overly priced bottle of marketing hype. I think Diageo is certainly ke...

First off, I love BYOB spots. What a brilliant concept. About Radiolaria - this was an excellent wild, Off Color/Jester King collab. Nice barnyard funk on the nose, light body, and a different funk on the finish, like Brett. Ace stuff. One of those wilds that isn't overly anything and would be easy ...

^ favorite Pink Floyd album, front to back. The sample of the Liverpool supporters on Fearless still can give me chills.

Great print. Don't think I'll ever get tired of any DeLorean/BTTF theme as long as it's done reasonably well.

Had a Grapefruit Sculpin this weekend... Heard good things but, for me, it's one of those that didn't live up to the hype. Would prefer the regular Sculpin (or even a Stiegl Radler, tbh) over the Grapefruit.

Re: The non-poster/print art of Aaron Horkey
Does anyone know if there's a way on EB to just view Horkey's sticker work? Or would I just have to search through his regular portfolio? Thanks in advance! I've got some old stickers and want to verify they are his work (I think the Black Osprey one is a pretty safe bet but would like to verify.) ...

I bet that bourbon barrel aged Black Note is killer too. Yep. First five I would be sure to hit in no particular order: Beat, BA Black Note, Rum BA Black Tuesday, Parabajava, Todd the Axe Man, Red Poppy, BA Dark Lord... oh wait this is an impossible exercise. So envious of any Central Coast CA head...

Outrageous tap list. Look for the Revolution Fist City if you're in need of a palate cleanser after a lot of big beers. So crisp and clean.Daggermouth wrote:My liver hurts already!![]()

Re: World of Whiskey
Just grabbed a bottle of an old standby that unfortunately seems hard to find these days - Weller Special Reserve. Days are definitely gone when this sat on the shelf at $15 a bottle but still glad to see it a sliver under $20. (Binny's South Loop if anyone in the Chi is looking) The whiskey game su...

Re: Beer - trading & discussion
Got to try some great beers out in San Fran... Didn't realize Mikkeller had a bar out there, so that was a treat for sure. Was hoping to land some other RR bottles to bring back but I'm not complaining about my stowaways one bit. Pleasantly surprised by the availability of Bomb! and 5 day old Crux O...
