Re: Stock Market Discussion

I don't know but the clients were in a mad panic. It's just the first time I've been through market volatility in the work world. Hopefully the Bulls keep coming. But you never know. 600 pts is quite a rally I've been in the business for 15 years, you have to constantly remind people about vol. For...

Re: Stock Market Discussion

just seems like every stock I look at, when you look at the 3 - 5 year share price chart that they are riding so high at the moment relatively speaking - just feels like I have missed the boat somewhat and it may be better to sit it out for a while. it is funny though, one stock I looked at that I ...

Re: Random Posts & Chaos

Kind of on point IMO. A business can refuse service to anyone... except gays? And a property owner cant decide who uses their own land? If I were the business owner, I personally would give service to anyone. Dolla bills yall. Plus the negative exposure has to crippling. Figures, the southern guy.

Re: Stock Market Discussion

Paypal=PYPL- trades separate from eBay today. I can't see how this would make them any more valuable because they got guaranteed money through ebay before. Unless they were the one of the main / main profit generators for eBay before the split and now their significant earnings and profits are easi...

Re: What book(s) are you reading???

Couldn't put this down (I'm a huge NStephenson fan). I'd love to hear some thoughts if anyone has read it. I am on page 400 or so and loving it. Haven't read any of his other books, but will definitely check them out after this one. What do you think is his best? Cryptonomicon is good, and I loved ...

Re: Currency Wars, USD, YEN, Bitcoin and what it means to yo

(personally think Spain is on the mend). What? Tbh, the USD is already too strong - not sure how much more "they" will let the EUR fall against it. Anyway, I'm really happy right now :) Of the periphery euro nations, Spain's macros are the most promising. If you don't know what I mean by ma...

Re: Currency Wars, USD, YEN, Bitcoin and what it means to yo

Monday's going to be interesting day, Euro is taking hit, but Greek futures are up.... given Varafoukis's background in Game Theory, and his backing of the "No" vote, could see Greek new deal happen in the couple of days. Still don't see big moves in BTC in the short term however. If Grexit occurs ...

and.... we're back! Greece Blows Up Negotiations – Bank Run Has Started #grexit Based on the last couple of weeks, it doesn't look like the market cares much about Greece after all; Greek GDP only makes up 2% of the EU. Will be interesting to see what happens with the 7/5 referendum, but I don't th...

That Facebook page would be comical if it didn't speak for such a large portion of the population. What a drymounting turd. Glad to hear you and your family are ok. The guy looks like a little fudge. What is the deal with the "don't step on our flag" thing? Where are all these flag stompin' events ...
