Re: Framing Help/Advice Thread

Dust. Dust. And more dust. Oh and fuzzies. Framing all my pictures last night so that things are ready to sell and be packaged if I ever get an order in. I found it nearly impossible to keep all the dust and stuff out. Any tips and tricks? I read that for plexi you should clean it first. So I used t...

Re: Give Us an Art Tour of Your Place

Yeah. I hear ya. I have been torn on this in the past. I do like matching the art to the frame and what works best for each piece, but then I would end up with all mismatched frames and colors on the wall and that isn't my cup of tea. I think for the most part I want to stick with black, white, neut...

That's awesome. The paper being too small for the mat though would drive me crazy.

Looks good, nice spacing and openness as well. Too much white for me though, I think I would feel like I was in an institution or something. Then again I know the all white look is big outside the states, so to each his/her own.

Re: Beer - trading & discussion

IDK, it was the same size as "tall boys" we used to drink back in college. After that dream I had one that a group of us were on a boat or something. Like one of those pirate boats in Somalia. We were in the middle of the ocean yet there was a dock with a larger boat that I went to grab. There was n...

Re: Beer - trading & discussion

Um wow. Just heard a commercial for tecate and it jogged my memory about a dream I had last night. Was hanging with an artist, I think Jay Shaw, and I was thirsty. He went to a mini-fridge and handed me a silver can with a lemon printed on one side. The rest of the can was heady topper art and it wa...

Re: Mark Englert?

Would assume he just uses his grandchild's name and address to get extra prints. POTD but at what point is a child old enough to camp out? Also, you seem to know a lot for only being here two months. I guess your username is honest at least. Wow, hen did it become ok to start talking fudge about a ...

Crazy that something like that is delivered by text message nowadays.

Also, that sucks. Good luck finding a new place!

Re: Audiophile discussion

Love my Grado headphones. One of these days (you know after getting engaged, married, framing all my crap, buying a LF camera, etc. etc.) I really would like a new speaker and receiver setup for my turntable. I have a Technics 1210 (with Ortofon Red cart) which I love and a receiver/speakers that we...

Re: New LAMINATE signed covers Josh Keyes, Sylvia Ji, Handie

In all fairness I knew their track record so I have 100% myself to blame. That said, I would not bother sending them a dime. They should be paying us for keeping their store alive. You wonder how a company so poorly handled and managed stays afloat.
