Re: Framed Keyes

This thread is dangerous. I picked up The Collector thanks to the Tiny Showcase timed edition, and that was my first Keyes. In the three days since, I'm stalking auctions for Evacuation, and now am seriously considering buying Stampede from someone here. The photos of Stampede in frames is pushing m...

Re: Framed Stuff Part 6

I'd bring it back to the framer, if you are concerned about the warranty/shop guarantee. Most frame shops back their work and will cover it if anything is to go wrong. You will probably void that if you open it up. If you aren't concerned about that, as it seems you don't care too much for their cr...

Re: Framed Stuff Part 6

I've got Hobby Lobby museum on 2 of my prints and it's great. Absolutely no glare at all and the two I have have some very dark areas. If you go with the HL route, be sure to check online for their 40% off coupon. All you'll need to do is pull it up on your phone and show them at the register to ge...

Re: Framed Stuff Part 6

Hey guys, I need some opinions on a glare issue I'm having. I moved less than a month ago and finally have started getting around to hanging my art. (But first, I stubbed my broken toe on some frames sitting on the floor, ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow) Anyway, I've got my Totoro up on the wall... http:...

Re: Framed Stuff Part 6

Posted this in the framed Moss thread, figured I'd post it here too. (Sorry for all the terrible glare, I'm moving in two weeks otherwise it would be on a wall.) http://i.imgur.com/7xnRX.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Sj0JQ.jpg Went with sort of a shadow box look with the mats propped up from the print. Har...

Re: Framed Moss Thread

Originally this post was going to contain photos of my Totoro print in its brand new frame, but when I went to the framers to pick it up today I found they had kind of screwed up the frame job and not followed the requests I had made (which were written down on my order). But the worst thing about i...

Re: Framed Moss Thread

Also have my SW set framed in the bedroom, but they're currently down for maintenance. Nothing fancy as far as frames, everything from Michaels and IKEA I think the simple black frames work really well with Moss' work just because of how striking and minimalist it typically is, an overly fancy and ...

Re: Framed Moss Thread

MAN that evil dead looks awesome! I'll post my moss wall soon (though it is missing pokemon...for now) Thanks! Looking forward to seeing some other framed Ollys. I'm especially interested in what people have done with the Rolling Roadshow series. Would love to steal a little inspiration ... Well, t...
