This is a GREAT Penfield Homefront WWI poster.
Hence the year should be 1917
The draftsmanship of the women and the horses is exceptional.
Fairly easy to find in very good condition, but almost every copy has subtle fading, which doesn't greatly impact the image.

Really surprised these have not had more attention. Glaser is widely regarded as one of the premier graphic artists alive, best known for his Dylan and I Love NY posters. I picked up both of these, expecting to prefer the landscape, but to me the regular works much better, now that I have seen both ...

Love Glyn's Beardsley influenced artwork, and his outstanding use of metallics in his silk screens.
Very underappreciated artist.

Have now seen both in person. Both are Terrific prints, and my copies appear to be very well printed. Really surprised to find that I much prefer the variant over the regular. Looks so much better in person than JPEG!
