Band Lands imo is the best image.
I agree....Bad Lands and Heartbreak in Brooklyn are my favorite images in the 150 series. Maybe it's the Bunny that I like.

Re: Waviness on Framed Prints

Also depends on how much tape the framer used and how much room he left in the frame for the paper to move. If there is too much tape across the top of the print it's going to be more prone buckling and waves. If the frame was cut the exact size of the print then there is no room for the print/paper...

Re: Cleaning art

I use a horsehair brush for dusting works on paper when I frame at the Museum where I work. See the link below:

Re: Floating a Print

What do framers charge for floating a print and does the art work get affected from the back? Lot's of variables to come up with a price for this procedure. First of all there are several methods to float a print. And the price would also vary depending on the size of the print. As far as the back ...

Re: Hunting for Info Re: Shepard Fairey Print

if the guy who sold the print to you had some of the original screens, I wonder if he's printing up small batches every now and again to sell as "printers proofs". If the prints are unsigned and NOT labeled "P/P" then they are NOT printers proofs. Printers proofs are signed by the artist and number...

Re: Mounting

If the room the print will be displayed in has a well controlled climate (temp + humidity), the print can be against the glazing, or framed with spacers, without harming it in the short term. Don't press the backing tightly - just enough to hold things in the frame. But if you have rapid changes in...

Re: Mounting

Lot's of variables to answering this question. What size is the print? What is the paper stock? Is the print valuable (is it worth getting mounted properly). You could frame this any number of ways without using an over-mat. You could simply sandwich the print between a piece of acrylic and it's bac...

Re: Fauntleroy SNOOTY

Sorry, but that's just BS. This is an art forum and people have opinions, both positive and negative. To expect everyone to only speak here when they have something nice to say won't fly. If you're afraid of critical feedback then maybe this isn't the right forum to start a thread on. Every artist ...

Re: Fauntleroy SNOOTY

Can't believe my daughter's painting was removed. The best thing this thread had :( Also, babbs, why would you post gazillion photos of the same fudge? Literally the same image. Post a pic or two and that is it. These are the redundancies that should be moderated, IMO, and not the luls. Babbs is a ...

Re: Fauntleroy SNOOTY

Why does this even deserve a thread ?? OP shamelessly posts the worst drymounting art by some of the worst "artistS" in the game. Look at some of the trash threads he has started , add this to the pile. One mans trash is another mans gold. Not everyone can post a winner every time and not every art...

Re: Fauntleroy SNOOTY

I can't link to the Member Usage Policy as it appears to be broken so I'll just summarise. https://pastorinmouseears.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/cant-say-something-nice.jpg Constructive criticism and opinion is fine. On mass crapping on an artist isn't. Also, purposefully subverting a thread you do...

RETNA was kind enough to do a mural at Soze Gallery. Not sure what everyone is complaining about?
