Re: Direct Glass Contact with Rotating Portfolio
If you're rotating art in and out of the same frame, why not rotate the glass out and replace it with Acrylic (plexi). Unless you splurge on Optium Acrylic, buying a few pieces of UV plexi is not that expensive.

No Yellow/Green in the Faile image. Will be interesting to see if there are 7 variants. Or if one of the color variants in the photo below don't exist.greekboy wrote:Just landed.

Re: General FAILE related thread and stuffs
Purple and blue arrived today. I'm in the hunt for "And I Held My Breath" and "Tonight We Faile." I know Tonight We Faile is a tough one to get. But I have some interesting trades and/or cash. With those two I'll have the complete set.

Re: Not sure if this goes here. Question about Blueprints
How large are the blueprints? If the sheets are large then mylar corners might not be enough to hold them in place if you're planing on floating the sheets. And given that vintage blueprint paper is probably very delicate the ideal way to hinge them would be with wheat paste and Japanese mulberry pa...

Re: Why are Picture Frames and Matting Boards so Expensive!?
I have a couple questions along the framing process.... 1) How do you fix print to core board when you aren't using a mat? -----What about frame spacers? seems like the print would buckle when setting on 1/8 inch spacer Dont take this the wrong way, but you have a lot more than a couple of question...

Old painting, contemporary painting? Do you know the name of the artist? There are a lot of variables that go into authenticating a work of art. If you provide a little more information you might get better guidance.

Purchasing a Faile print (delivered) for under $200 should make you feel good.QballDS wrote:That makes me feel a bit better, but only a bit.Celsius wrote:25 shipping domestic tho...QballDS wrote:+1![]()
$45 USD shipping to Canada is insanity though. I hate Fedex.
