Re: Ise Ananphada of Thailand
I'd love to see Ise put together a series of alt theater posters for classic Broadway musicals...Les Miz, Cabaret, Evita, Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, etc. Her image for Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet got me thinking about how her style would be perfect for capturing stage productions. After...

Re: Currency Wars, USD, YEN, Bitcoin and what it means to yo
If btc can rally past 11500ish in the next couple weeks, it very well might be history-making. If that happens, I think the Winklevii might be right.
If not, I fear it is a long fall into a pit of razor blades.

Re: The evocative works of Aron Wiesenfeld
I like both, each for different reasons. Bunker has a very blunt message, which is fine given the subject, i.e. nuclear non- proliferation. The floral details look outstanding. The Garden, on the other hand, is suffused with an existential sadness, perhaps the artist reflecting on a recent period of...

Re: Chuck Sperry News
I think Chuck is entitled to not have his new works of art unsuccessfully prostituted on Ebay for absurd amounts of money.
Maybe Spoke should charge $2000 per panel and put the money in the pockets of the people who take the real risks- the artist and gallery owner.

Re: Chuck Sperry News
I understand people want to get top dollar. But LOL to the idea that an item is "worth whatever it cost me [random, inexperienced schmoe] to procure it." Gimme a break with that shiz. The people flipping these panels couldn't care less whether a buyer is overpaying like crazy. They just want fast mo...

the Aberdeen Proving Grounds would be a badass place to paint a wall. Probably some nice rubble sitting around for a series of small street pieces. Just watch out for those stray phosphorus bombs

Re: Chuck Sperry News
I could send all these ambitious Sperry panel flippers a raft of ebay messages haranguing them for being greedy, opportunistic rat drymounts who couldn't care less about the art, much like the stupid ebay messages I receive from the ebay 'playahs' whenever I try to sell something for a smidge higher...
