Yes, I am serious.

I am sure the Obamas planned to get that dog from Kennedy's breeder all along. They probably just waited until it was house-trained and checked for temperament.

And to make matters worse, the story I read mentioned the Kennedys were giving the dog to "Sasha and Malia", which is a HUGE point of contention among animal welfare activists. You don't give a select member of the family an animal, the animal becomes a family member and is the responsibility of all...
