This month I'll be working on collecting all of the drawings into a 32 page comic sized book.

I think with the original plan the drawings would have ended up in a much smaller group of peoples hands. No way to prove that though.
And yes. I wanted to make more money off of them. Find out what my work is worth.

and that is exactly why I am doing this. So people who WANT the drawings will be able to get them, not someone looking to get my work for cheap.

I realize this crowd isn't thrilled with the decision, but a LOT of other folks, friends and family and their co-workers, etc... all want a shot at getting one too. This keeps the window open longer for more people to get involved.

That makes sense. I will keep that method in mind for future original art sales.
I'm listening to my wife for this one, though. She's been trying to get me to raise my prices for a long time, and this way I outta find out a good base level price for my work.

If you wanted to buy a couple of them and had them in your cart but hadn't paid, someone could still check out quicker with one you had chosen and you wouldn't get it.
