Re: Grateful Dead Santa Clara 15 Everett

Mine also arrived yesterday and in a gigantic box. Inside, as Evergreen noted, was a tyvek envelope that was taped down and sandwiched between 2 pieces of thin chipboard. It required some surgical removal but all in all it was in perfect condition. And yes, this print is really quite nice. The sharp...

Re: Grateful Dead Santa Clara Fare Thee Well II 15 Status Re

that sounds about right. Mark Ryden's General Sherman print was handled in the same manor. There was a lot of shipping damage on that one. customer's were asked to do the same thing. In Ryden's case, they just e-mailed you a return label and you folded up the print into an 8x10 envelope (or however...

Re: Grateful Dead Santa Clara 15 Everett

Based on the condition of other posters arriving from the merch company, I can't wait to see how what kind of condition the this is in when it arrives at my house. I seriously doubt they can even roll it without destroying it. Then factor in paper thin Uline tube, no kraft paper, etc. I should just ...

What? Damn it! I wasn't even watching the Dead's site.

Does this explain the abundance of BIN's on Ebay for almost half of the average going rate all of a sudden? All note "presale" and are not in hand.

$275! Ouch. Not that it matters. I couldn't get squat even if I wanted to. Off to freaking Ebay I guess. One can only hope that the prices will drop after a couple weeks.

Picked up a couple other prints though while I was at the shop though. :)

Re: Grateful Dead Santa Clara 15 Everett

Nice! So happy to see Michael doing an official poster for this event. Very appropriate given the Dead discovered him via an envelope decoration so many years ago. Will need to score this needless to say. :D

Re: ISO 24x36 Acid Free Portfolios

Thanks for the response. For some reason, every coupon code I try to enter says they only apply to regularly priced items vs on sale items. The portfolio is on sale. I remember the day I bought my first print that exceeded 18x24. It was a game changer with how I had to deal with storage from that p...

Re: ISO 24x36 Acid Free Portfolios

Maybe? Hard to tell when the big savings will come. If you can wait it out some you have nothing to lose. I saw a pop up today that if you join their email club you can save 25% off one item plus free shipping. Then there is the Memorial Day flier. Not sure if any of these deals get you a better pri...

At those prices, this is the closest I will come to seeing them.

I will say that the one on the left reminds of Boy George.

Re: ISO 24x36 Acid Free Portfolios

I just discovered this too when I ordered a 5 pack refill. I am on the fence about it although I think I prefer the clear. I have found that my clear sleeves have warped a bit over the years though. The matte finish seems a bit more pliable. Still.....
