Re: Name Your TOP10 Horkey Prints

Ok, here's mine -- only from those I own, a couple are in the process of getting framed up. 1. FOTC (Cream/White) Love this image, I grew up in NZ so the Kiwi is a nice touch and of course FOTC is all kinds of awesome. http://s18.postimg.org/udd84alyh/IMG_20130725_144705.jpg Oh and prints aside, the...

That flooring is spot on perfect for MWH, nice job.

Re: Mark Englert?

Question for people that have GID stuff: Do they make (I haven't looked yet) a small black light bulb that you can but in one of those frame lights? My parents have those little frame lights that light up the art when it's dark, I was thinking that might be cool to have on these GID prints. Thought...

Re: Horkey/Dead Arts Rumors and News

Jesus halflife!! It took you less than a year to get all of those? I am a slacker. So....I take after my Dad when it comes to collecting. My prior hobby was clocks...one of which you see on the flatfile (late 1800's clock with Japy Freres movement). I have about 14 of them floating around t...

Re: Framed Horkey Thread

Finally got my TWBB variant up. Thanks to plasticmoz again for the inspiration and patience with all the questions. This was my first frame that I did on my own, I've learned some things, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Sorry for the pretty bad cell phone picture. The house is pretty b...

Re: What is your latest proud print acquisition?

Commissioned Whalen The Thing? How many copies around? 4-5? It's from before Whalen was as big as he is now. EB listing says '09 but the print says '10. It's a 1/1. Been passed around between a few people over the years. I traded for it and intend to keep it a while. Congrats Z, that is pretty sweet.

Re: Shaun of the Dead 13 Stout Release Discussion 07/27/13

Nice job with the photos, BCS. Mine should arrive later this evening. I wish Simon Pegg's character had a bit more black in his hair/beard, though (like most of the other characters). Seems a bit too shiny to me. Not sure if it appears that way in person. I agree. Looks great, but I prefer the regu...

Re: Horkey/Dead Arts Rumors and News

Am I crazy for wanting to trade my TWBB towards a JP or WBG?! Someone...please tell me that I'm crazy. Depends how much the movie(s) mean to you. I much prefer Aaron's art prints to his movie posters and on top of that I'm not that interested in hanging a JP poster -- so it depends how you prioriti...

Re: The Grandmaster 13 Zouravliov

Maybe I'm in the minority but I really like this, the linework and the colorway on the regular work really well together and it's a pretty strong image composition-wise despite the lack of IP man. This coming from someone who hasn't really considered any of Zouravliov's prints before.

Re: Dylan Mr Tambourine Man Sharp 66

Says #91 onward remaining as of 08/15.

Probably won't sell out for a while, but one I've been looking for (1st Ed.) in good condition for a long while so it's time to get this one framed and call it a day.
