Re: UnAmerican Graffiti 09 D*Face
$500 dollars for a 34 x 48 21 color screenprint with two layers of varnish is not bad. D*Face is one of the top 10 artists on the scene and $500 is right around market price for him. Banksy charges UNDER market price for a reason. Does D have to follow suit?

Anyone else grab one of these? They are drymounting phenomenal in person. So much variance between the prints. I got mine framed up yesterday.

Re: Mermaids In Oils 09 MAU-MAU
Seriously. These are incredible. And an unbelievable bargain. yeah, i should have just bought the set. i dont know why i didnt. i scored a red and gold though and am super stoked about them, especially the red headed one. They're probably too big to warrant owning a set. IDK about your place but mi...

Re: Jimi 09 Choe
Not to say I would not have snatched this up immediately but I do feel that something is always lacking in Choe prints. Texture is SO important in his work and it's always lost in printing. I feel the same way about Conor Harrington prints.

Arrived today... SWEET print! Heavy Somerset paper, hand stenciled... Smells yummy :D The only thing is what is up with postal tubes in the UK? It seems like every print I get from the UK has a few creases from the damage to the tube as the tube is as thick as a paper towel... so, of course the tub...

You'll get your second order canceled. Maybe both if you tried to be tricky.Scheckywhite wrote:and deprive myself of my first ever fairey flipping? I'm selling mine for a tiny $50 profit (after international shipping) at $130, compared to some of those crazy people looking for $200+

Are you saying that the other edition will be released in Japan? failip......I hope your right, I would love to grab one for $500. i think once people see these they will flip ou...

Re: Freedom To Lead 09 Fairey
This is the exact problem with modern day capitalism. People think that it's moral to make money off of nothing. Sitting at your computer for 20 minutes pressing f5 doesn't do one thing for anyone other than yourself. Your not making anything, your not doing ANYTHING. Oh well. This is the funniest ...

Re: Freedom To Lead 09 Fairey
I can pretty much guarantee that most of the people who buy this print could care less about the cause, and only the fact the Fairey has signed it. I'll still try and to get it, flip it, and feed my Millard hunger. Don't consider me immoral, just a capitalist.[/quote] This is the exact problem with...
