i won't clog up this thread anymore about Geddes but it was truly very smart of you guys to ask the artist to sign it on the image itself. i am honestly not smart enough to have even thought to ask (i do not own this print but still wouldn't have thought of it).

I wish I could go just frame and still cover the white border. That was what I had wanted but I do not think it can be done. That being said I think I am going to do the minimum amount of matting necessary to cover the white border. Mayber try half of what Scott has with an ornate frame. idk, just ...
