Re: Framing a print at michael's

You could always go in and measure, make sure that you select acrhival grade materials, order the frame and then put it in yourself. Sometimes I do this with Aaron brothers. I wouldn't leave the print with them though. Plus you don't want them using tape or something and then you don't find out for ...

Re: Fairey's Johnny Ramone Anticipation

Really dig the woods...Woods, Aluminium Glace Bay, and Aluminium Collage #1, along with a select few old school prints are some of RJ's rarest pieces.

that's pretty interesting... hopefully it pops up somewhere. Apparently Jack may have misplaced one of his vertabral discs.
That's what he said at ACL.

Thanks electrachrome. The pictures in that thread are great as far as showing layout and necessary amount of cardboard to extend beyond the edges of the print. Now I just need a good mailman.

Bulletproof way to pack and ship flat

I couldn't find a thread on this but, one probably exists. I have a seller shipping me some valuable prints and I would like to ship them flat. Does anyone have any extremely safe and strong ways to package and ship a print flat. Any help is much appreciated.

Is there a waitlist for Shep originals? yes. but it never amounts to anything your best bet is getting in contact with galleries a couple months before a show. btw- there are still some originals left from his current show Better make it at least a year before the show if you're looking to score on...

I was not planning to sell one. I stated before they were sold out that I was going to get one at the show. I'm not pissed that I didn't get one, I just think that if you're going to sell a print for a particular event, you ought to at least set aside 5 or 10 for the actual show.

I forgot to mention that when I visited mondo tees at the show and they told me that they did not sell posters at shows, there was a flat package wrapped in craft paper on the front counter with a note on it that said "Brad's order" from D&L. Maybe we will see more of these released?
