We were tossing p between DC and Boston. DC ultimately won because there was an NBA game we could get to. And monuments. Definitely Boston next time.

We ended up in Chicago for NYE and jagged tickets to a sold out Black Keys gig.
Would go back to NY, Chicago and Seattle again. Would skip DC. Some cool stuff to see but it was the only place I feared for my own safety.

I did, in 2010. Arrived in NY on Dec 21 or so. We went via Narita (Japan) if I remember rightly.

I hadnt seen that shot of the pipes, I had assumed that a whole section of the wall had to be removed for contruction. Seeing that makes me want to find the plumber that did it and suggest some alternative places to stick his pipe.
