I see not many John Wayne fans. Sad. John Ford and John Wayne created and shaped the western film genre (minus Zane Grey adaptations). But to each their own.

This is a VERY early rough draft of Ignatius. The print has evolved greatly but I am just showing the first draft of Ignatius. A few slots left to get a copy in on the private commission. PM me if interested.

And one must also mention the lack of prints for John Wayne movies, many to mention, The Man Who Shot Liberty Vance, The Searchers, Stagecoach, Rio Bravo, etc.

As the OP I appreciate the responses, many of which with I can agree. I find it striking that most movies mentioned are after the 70s. What about pre 1970s? I saw Rebecca which I certainly applaud as that is a Hitchcock classic. It would seem fitting that Durieux would make a wonderful print for tha...
