Wow, this guy's got some pretty awesome stuff. Don't really have the cash to swing atm though, sadly.

Re: Ise Ananphada of Thailand

So how would I go about getting some of her work? Does she have a webstore? Or do I have to resort to these fb groups I keep hearing about?

Let's go half on a ticket from MSP and I'll cram myself into the carry on
Ha, now that sounds like fun. Have to be at work early tomorrow regardless.

Re: RIP gigposters dot com?

Gigposters was the first site i found when I just got into this hobby (less than a year ago) and it introduced me to a lot of what would become my favorite artists. Though I never used the forums over there, for they seemed pretty dead, I loved the expansive database and links to artists' websites. ...

Re: Horkey/Dead Arts Rumors and News

Am I going to have to buy another Horkey before my first one even arrives?

Re: THE VACVVM: Official Discussion Thread

I bought, due almost exclusively to the fact that I know if I didn't I would be extremely jealous when all of you start posting your frame-ups and coa's. So... Thanks, I guess?

Edit: And of course because I love the piece.

Re: The Snare 15 Horkey

I'd wait till it arrives if I was you. Then you can mix and match your frame and Matt with everything together. Just a suggestion. Yeah, I get that, but im cheap. If I can, I like to but a frame on clearance at somewhere like tj maxx for next to nothing and then just get a mat custom cut. Can usual...

Re: The Snare 15 Horkey

Okay, cool. Will we get the info on the coa before the prints arrive? Just wanted to start shoppin for a frame to get custom matted while we wait, but I wanted to frame the snare and the coa together. Also, does anybody know if these are shipping flat or rolled?

Re: Mondo Poster News & Rumors

I don't much care for this comparison of posters to sports cards. Does not bode well for the future of the hobby. Comics I like a bit more but it's still a hobby that crashed pretty hard.

Edit: Also, "Vacvvm = Image" [2]

How are his coa's usually printed? Silkscreen? And any idea how big this one might be?

Re: THE VACVVM: Official Discussion Thread

Well, I broke down and bought it last minute. (Actually, 20 minutes late because I was sad that I hadn't bought it and thought the sale was over) This will be my first Horkey as well as my first giclee. I'm excited to see it in person. Edit: Wow, thought today was Saturday.... Oh well, at least I go...

Re: Jacob Bannon

Thanks! Yeah, I got the frame on clearance at tj maxx (minor damage) for $25, then another $30 to get it custom matted and put back together at hobby lobby. I feel really good about it all things considered.

Re: Jacob Bannon

http://i65.tinypic.com/2vcaiqu.jpg Sorry for bad picture, just took it with my phone. Excited to share my first frameup ever! And without breaking the bank too, only just over $50 all said and done. Edit: Okay, nvm. Will update when I learn how to post an image i guess.... Edit 2: Well, it's sidewa...
