Re: Laurent Durieux's Modes of Transportation

I had to harass the fudge out of him to get the refund for future prints on the sets paid in advance. And then he asked me to send him money to ship the prints he had there with my name on them. I sent him the money like an asshole! SILLY ME No drymounting excuse, it's theft at this point. David, I ...

youall made it an economic - that's not how I see it if youre a fan that's been buying his work at the more reasonable price level FOR a FREAKING OPEN EDITION - this price jump is a slap in the face a reflection that the artist has little regard for fans...popularity or greed, that I'm not sure act...

Re: James Jean News and Releases

I'm a lot of things to a lot of people I'm glad you used the term "luxury items" - hits the nail on the head and sums up the entire argument. It's not Honda vs Porsche, it's people that can buy pretty paper vs. people that can't afford to eat or pay rent. If you can't afford a $500 print, you can't...

If you can afford a 250 art print, but somehow can’t swing a 500 art print, the unfortunate truth is that you probably couldn’t afford the 250 art print.

I dgaf about the meat, just wish I didn't have to drop $500 if I want a timed giclee. I prefer an $800 woodcut, honestly. I am sure it will look amazing though.
I was definitely picturing a ryden style meat dress before I went back a page.

Also yes the printing/embossing on these are amazing!

Re: Art Galleries Vs. Looters/Riots

Still haven't heard from a single person who's had to put in a claim for a serious amount of damaged art prints/posters in the vein of what we collect. Me thinks ya'll would be in for a rude awakening if/when it eva happened regardless of what the "policy" is. 💯 I have all my inventory insured for ...

Re: Art Galleries Vs. Looters/Riots

Anyone see the video of people randomly breaking in to a 80% minority owned art gallery in CA. And after being told, people kept stealing and running away? Hopefully the black business owners that have been hit have insurance. FYI, most black owned business are going to go bankrupt after this. """"...

Predictable as in assigning a probability and setting a rate. Not a magic 8 ball dudes, come on.

That said, looks like the information I was given was not correct. Everything I've read since says the opposite.
