Re: The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus 09 Ansin

Never even heard of this movie. How come it didn't get a wide release in the US? It's got some big names and Terry Gilliam is kind of a big deal director. it's getting a wider release, this weekend in fact. i've read to 400 screens, but not totally sure about that number. the short runs in nyc and ...

Re: The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus 09 Ansin

Balls, hand numbered not signed. Weaksauce. Oh well, scored one so I'm happy. how is this a surprise to anyone at this point? alamo prints are never signed, save for maybe a perkins or b.dix print here or there 'cos they live down the street. My Danger and Millward prints from Alamo are signed and ...

Re: Copperhead Squadt 09 Wong / FERG

there's 400 of them between the two colorways, so i'm guessing they'll be around for a while. 24 hours at the very most I reckon. at this time of year, i'd wager they'll be around for longer than that. fewer people than usual are going to have the dosh to drop on a toy like this. also, the increase...

Re: The Warriors Poster Series

Those be some pretty big editions there. thank you, captain obvious. seems the alamo and the artists would like to make some money this time, rather than letting the flippers have all the fun. Wow, you dont change much from thread to thread, just a big cockknob yourself! funny, wasn't talking to yo...

Can you still preorder the blue album vinyl? http://shop.relapse.com/store/product.aspx?ProductID=36491 Is this the same vinyl they are seling at the shows? The Blue Record at the shows are 2LPs on Black Vinyl... and a pressing of 290. seems like they would sell quick with Baroness's increasing pop...

Re: New Mark Brabant Print Extra Innings

that house doesn't speak Chicago to me? More of a rural feel I am receiving when I lived down south Little League was big, huge lighted fields. absolutely, it looks like a little league field in some small corn town in iowa, doesn't look/feel/remind a lick of a big city, not even remotely. oh, and ...

between the prints sold at the venue, jay's subbers and this onsale, i'm willing to bet that's all she wrote. his prints aren't usually priced that high unless he only has a small amount to sell.

Re: New Mark Brabant Print Extra Innings

i dont like the pattern in dd's print at all. i prefer a more 'real' looking sky. plus i prefer the neighborhood and baseball stadium to a highway and cars. reminds me of wrigleyville(minus the beautiful landscaping of course). it's just more my cup of tea, thats all. doesn't look a thing like wrig...

Re: what's the lowdown on the jay ryan sub?

jay don't think jay does overseas subs, but i could be wrong from what i've read (on GP if memory serves), he's not doing any new international subs 'cos it's too expensive to replace shipments if they go missing (which, apparently, a couple have). as for extras, subbers get a cool secret decoder r...

Re: Jay Ryan: Two stellar new gig posters

That PC print really reminds me of '99-'00 era Jay, more so than any other print in recent memory. Not that the stuff since isn't quality, just a different mood and motive if that makes any sense. Loving both though... haven't picked up a new Jay in a while... maybe it's time... totally agree, espe...
