Re: The Sandlot

Rotating the baseball laces looks MUCH better. Plus, it allowed me to make The Great Bambino's signature a bit bigger. "That wimpy deer?!"

Re: The Sandlot

As an autograph collector, the ball bothers me. It needs to be rotated. Players never sign the ball that way, always on the sweet spot turned the other way. Good catch! Maybe even have Mandy Peppercorn holding the ball? http://i.imgur.com/wkusLFk.png http://i.imgur.com/kAMds0g.png http://i.imgur.co...

Re: The Sandlot

The baseball is skewed to give it a sense of motion. As if it's just been hit. When I straighten it (how it was in my first version actually), it doesn't flow with the lettering as well. Looks like the artist may be in the minority in this opinion :) https://static.squarespace.com/static/51782d86e4b...

Re: The Sandlot

Originally wanted to include one of the movie taglines, but neither seemed appropriate on a poster featuring a girl in a swimsuit :D

"The adventure of a lifetime, the summer of their dreams...the dog of their nightmares."

"A piece of paradise a half block wide and a whole summer long."

The Sandlot

Been putzing around with a Sandlot poster for myself over the past 6-8 months. Figured I'd share it here.

Re: Mark Englert?

Luke dangling beneath Cloud City would make a great Empire piece between the Tatooine and Endor prints. A good visual of Luke's failure.

Re: Framed Moss Thread

Thanks guys! May be my new favorite framed art in the house. And I love when a print works with a driftwood frame. Maybe Durieux JAWS will be among them someday. Very nice. These are still my favourite Captain America prints. The only thing that bug me about these are the copyright credits at the bo...

Re: Framed Moss Thread

Finally got two of my favorite Moss prints framed. https://static.squarespace.com/static/51782d86e4b084b94e4d064e/52d567dbe4b08744b39be89f/5370d0ece4b0a44be2fbd72a/1399902445088/cap%201.JPG?format=750w I went with driftwood to make them look like they were originally hanging in some Army recruitment...

Re: Framed Stuff Part 9

Had these hanging for a while, but couldn't remember if I actually posted them here.
