Re: Vandal King 15 DOT DOT DOT Release Discussion 03/08/15

It seems like such a blatant cash grab to mimic Dolk/Banksy's style so closely. Thuggish stencil with a colored background; its been done to drymounting death. At least Dolk brings some nuance and humor to his work, all of which is sorely lacking here. This artist, and all others like him, will have...

Re: Anything OBEY related

Does anybody know if the rise above cop was printed in 18 x 24? nope, not the original run, maybe the paster one Yeah the rise above series was all made into pasters, which are actually quite nice. I have the AK47 one and its is way nicer then any of the other Guns & Roses images in my opinion. Its...

Re: Anything OBEY related

On another note, its nice to see Shep switching up the paper stock. I much prefer thick white stock to his normal flimsy speckle tone. Now if we can only get some full bleed prints!!!

Re: What is your latest proud print acquisition?

For those who are fans of older Obey, I've got this first edition gem coming my way. http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e311/jjttdw/Propengine_zpsb97ce76d.jpg That print was a steal at that price!! I think this one is a little underrated due to the reprints, but its an absolute classic for any serio...

Re: What is your latest proud print acquisition?

^^^ Agreed, that POSE is sweet! I'm really stoked to have discovered him lately. I've been after a Kaws piece for years, and his work is just as good at a fraction of the price. Pose is great, but I don't really feel like you can lump him together with Kaws. Poes' work is totally different. If anyt...

Re: What is your latest proud print acquisition?

This one may get sold to cover some incoming X-mas costs, but I can defiantly appreciate why its so sought after. Its drymounting awesome!

Re: Framed Stuff Part 10

I applaud you for trimming the print to achieve the frame job you wanted. Its rare that someone is willing to sacrifice value to enjoy the art. That being said, why did you not just mat out the border? According to the experts, mats should be at least 1 1/2 the size of the frame, which seems just ab...

Re: Blot 14 Pose

I'm really stoked to have snagged one of these. Its similar and superior (IMO) to the recent KAWS print.
