Partially editing your quote for clarity - please correct me if I twist anything up... A - Then I edition the rest. No overrun. Would it be better for collectors if I noted how many A/Ps there are on my website? B - Would it be better if I numbered these as printers proofs instead of artist proofs? ...

To my knowledge, the PNE group has not sold any of the unnumbered prints. QOTSA has some sort of show proof for sale on their site, and I'm sure they were sellling at the merch booths of their shows, but these are not being sold by the artists. The serious collector that wants a pristine print shipp...

disagree. if one is destroyed, it no longer exists. I think the only gripe here is that there is the possibility of unnumbered prints. nah, it goes beyond that. hence my 'snapshot in time' comment. I mean, let's take whatever your favorite s/n print is and let's say the artist has agreed to sell yo...

yup. he keeps track of what goes out when in a journal. That's why i believe him when he says only 35 bowie prints are out there that have the sketches on them. I don't know what his stance would be if somebody sent him one back that got damaged in transit though and he had already sold the other 34

the print run has changed because the artist has now signed and numbered more than two hundred prints of the same poster.

a print run should be a snapshot in time and independent of how many exist in the "now"

the goal is not to ensure that there is only one #20, rather to ensure that there are only 200 (or whatever) of a signed/numbered run. Destroying one #20 and replacing it with another means that the S/N run is above 200

Ok, explain why you're worried about it? I mean, if you get the cash and actually mail the item, aren't you in the clear? My confirmed address in pay pal is no longer valid. Sometimes I ship to my place, sometimes I ship to where I work. It all depends on what it is and how much I trust whomever wil...

when i was in college i went to a girl's place and she had a picture of the quaker oatmeal guy above the toilet. it didn't bother her any because her back was always to him, but that coy grin really freaked me out when i was doing my business in there. bathroom art is evil.

A couple of weeks isn't unreasonable. Personally, I can only get to a post office to ship stuff out on saturdays (and they all close at noon... lucky me, I'm used to getting up at 1 pm on weekends). That means if I agree on a trade/sale on a sunday, it ain't going out anytime soon. People have crazy...
