Re: My First Movie Poster

I agree with you initial comment about there not being a real definitive or supreme 2001 poster. I "settled" w/ the Martin Ansin Kubrick collage. What about the Tim Doyle 2001 print? I think that one is pretty rad. I love Tim's stuff, and preferred his Variant 2001 w/ silver, but I felt it to be a ...

Really nice!

There is so much imagery in that film and I think you juxtaposed it very nicely.

Jeffrey Everett new Lou Reed poster

Just came across this nice piece by El Jefe. http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p233/macphistoz/01a.jpg Not a lot of Lou Reed posters out there. At least from what I have seen. Available from Lou's site for $70 w the first 50 sold signed by Lou http://www.loureed.com/posters/ Or for $55 all costs in...

Re: Jurassic Park 11 Horkey

Thanks for all the feedback! I like the idea of the medium-brown wood color. Will let you know what I end up going with and how it turns out.

Re: Jurassic Park 11 Horkey

Just got the regular that I purchased from a very friendly and accommodating board member. Really beautiful work on this thing. I am thinking of getting it matted with the frame. I normally just use a frame, but this one is so big I think it might work. Since I never get anything matted, could you p...

Re: Jurassic Park 11 Horkey

The poster represents the end scene of the movie. So what if it looks different. Every artist has their own interpretation, style and expression. This one just happens to be Horkey's. Who cares if someone thinks the tail is too long, or the teeth look funny, or the title is hard to read. The tail cu...

Re: New Castro / David O Daniel Prints up!

Got my Kong set yesterday. Unfortunately I do not have enough wall space for all 3. Anybody want/need the T-Rex and/or Dactyl prints?

Re: The Mummy 11 Ansin

One thing that is weird to me are these vertical lines on the glyphs over the title. Is it like this on the text of the regular? Someone on the Mondo thread confirmed their variant also has them. I can let this die now. I received confirmation from Mo today that the variants all have the lines, so ...

Re: The Mummy 11 Ansin

Got mine in the mail. Was scared because the outside of my tube was wet along the spiral curves of the tube. The inside was dry. Have spent a lot of framing recently so went w/ a 24x36 walmart special for $20. Actually a decent quality frame. Deep rosewood/mahogany red brown. Doesn't come across gre...
