Re: What is the value of epic never seen before 9/11 images?

Sotheby's is a good idea too, thanks Maddog. I think it's a fine line making money off photos and a story (which is your property and right) from some corporation taboot (which I'm pretty sure is how news agencies get at least some of their stories - if you don't believe me then just watch Spiderman...

Re: What is the value of epic never seen before 9/11 images?

Reason he hasn't sold them yet is because of the dilemma of making a profit off this tragedy. He did say that they deserve to be in a museum though. But if he could make $20,000 (which is what he values them at - I have no idea what the basis for this is), then he would seriously consider selling.

What is the value of epic never seen before 9/11 images?

So my friend posed as a news reporter the morning after 9/11 and was able to get 30 pretty insane and graphic photos. Now he's looking to sell them. Anyone have an idea of what they might be worth? Best way to sell them or to who? I'm at a loss. Thanks EB!

Re: Flattening Prints - Advice Sought

Relative humidity can have a big effect on prints flattening as well. If you live in a dry climate, or if your house if dry in the winter, get a small humidifier and put it in the room with your prints, and pick up a hygrometer to see what the humidity level is. Keeping the room at around 40% humid...

Grade A hype! Well done nub (or alt). Inappropriate how you feel collector's enthusiastic posts are now somehow 'hype' or 'alts' while your running into our threads consistently for years on end since DHM's founding, with specific, deliberate, and relentlessly negative posts, isn't somehow overt. Re: Pet Peeves- Vent Here! Let me feel your pain.

Donkeys on the road - they're everywhere. The other day I was driving in my lane and the other lane was ending. There must've been at least two signs saying ending in 200m, ending 100m or whatever. Why do people (beemers I find typically) wait till the last minute to merge and push their way in whe...
