Re: General FAILE related thread and stuffs
How does Shopify work? Once you have it carted is the print yours? Or do you still have to check out before they are sold out?

Re: Print yellowing along outside border
If it's MDF then that's your answer. MDF is highly acidic.

Re: Print yellowing along outside border
Was this in a wooden frame? My guess is the wood used to make the frame was treated with something (non-archival) and the outer edges of the paper were in contact with the frame.

Re: Anything OBEY related
pardon the ignorance, but what's an offset litho compared to a regular litho? its an unnecessary descriptive word. offset is a type of printing. lithography is a form of offset printing. I worked for quite a few years as a fine arts printmaker and there is actually a distinction between "offset" li...

Re: Anyone store foam core/mat? (Plug in Play)
I work in a museum and the majority of our works on paper are matted and stored in solander cases (see the link below): http://www.archivalmethods.com/product/museum-cases And as much as we can, we try to mat the works in standard sizes and have a large inventory of standard sized frames (16x20, 22x...

Re: Arranging courier service from London > USA
If it was framed appropriately they won't use glass, they'll use acrylic.

Re: Anything OBEY related
Anyone interested in purchasing an open edition OBEY print (still available for $30.00 on the OBEY website) at auction, current bid stands at $700.00 .....the auction ends in just over an hour. You would think a reputable auction house would know better than to allow this to happen. https://www.arts...

Re: Transporting framed prints
If they are framed with glass I would advise switching the glass out with acrylic. It will make the frames a lot lighter and easier to transport. It will also reduce the risk of damaging the art. Otherwise invest in Glass Protection Tape. If the glass shatters it helps contain the sharp shards. http...

Re: General FAILE related thread and stuffs
I can't remember the exact amount for shipping, but I do remember viewers complaining. But the cost is justified as FAILE does an amazing job packing. Prints in the past have come packed in a tube which is then packed in a box. And they are not rolled tight and because the paper quality is so high t...

According to the Artrepublic Instagram it's a Lenticular print. I'm curious to see what the print looks like from different angles.

Re: Official Mr. Brainwash Conspiracy Thread
For the first time in a long time I was excited about a Brainwash release. My 10 year old son is a soccer fanatic and loves Pelé so when I saw the e-mail I thought I would go for one of these prints to perhaps hang in his room. Then I saw the prices and have no interest in purchasing.
