Re: Framing Help/Advice Thread

Dust. Dust. And more dust. Oh and fuzzies. Framing all my pictures last night so that things are ready to sell and be packaged if I ever get an order in. I found it nearly impossible to keep all the dust and stuff out. Any tips and tricks? I read that for plexi you should clean it first. So I used t...

Re: Give Us an Art Tour of Your Place

Yeah. I hear ya. I have been torn on this in the past. I do like matching the art to the frame and what works best for each piece, but then I would end up with all mismatched frames and colors on the wall and that isn't my cup of tea. I think for the most part I want to stick with black, white, neut...

That's awesome. The paper being too small for the mat though would drive me crazy.

Re: Give Us an Art Tour of Your Place

Looks good, nice spacing and openness as well. Too much white for me though, I think I would feel like I was in an institution or something. Then again I know the all white look is big outside the states, so to each his/her own.

Re: Beer - trading & discussion

IDK, it was the same size as "tall boys" we used to drink back in college. After that dream I had one that a group of us were on a boat or something. Like one of those pirate boats in Somalia. We were in the middle of the ocean yet there was a dock with a larger boat that I went to grab. There was n...

Re: Beer - trading & discussion

Um wow. Just heard a commercial for tecate and it jogged my memory about a dream I had last night. Was hanging with an artist, I think Jay Shaw, and I was thirsty. He went to a mini-fridge and handed me a silver can with a lemon printed on one side. The rest of the can was heady topper art and it wa...

Re: Mark Englert?

Would assume he just uses his grandchild's name and address to get extra prints. POTD but at what point is a child old enough to camp out? Also, you seem to know a lot for only being here two months. I guess your username is honest at least. Wow, hen did it become ok to start talking fudge about a ...

I need to watch the Ted on that. Actually I rarely, if ever watch Ted, but so much of it is really fascinating.

Re: Did you exercise today?

Good luck and just keep with it, you will see the results and it will be worth it. Thanks and yeah I hope I do. I would say my weakness is just poor eating in general. Lack of fruits and vegetables and too much bread/carbs. I stopped buying sweets, well that is a lie, I buy one thing of cookies and...

Re: Did you exercise today?

Be careful getting after it too hard. Easy to injure yourself that way especially if your body isn't used to it. That is my biggest problem. Pretty sure it is how I ran a marathon when completely untrained. I just kick into gear and cannot stop. Hence killing myself at the gym. I go in saying ok 5 ...

Re: Did you exercise today?

Interesting. Yeah soccer has killed my knees. Torn meniscus and ACL in the past. I just want to get some cardio in. My knee is better now but about 2 weeks ago I did something to it where I was wobbling around. Pretty sure it was the beating from the treadmill/I landed on it wrong and extended my kn...

Re: Did you exercise today?

Thanks for the advice. Yeah I would say I make healthy eating decisions, but then again not really since I have always been super picky with fruit and veggies. (think a 10 year old boy). Yeah I would say I already have some muscle and have always been fairly lean, but I use to be more defined and de...
