Re: All-Encompassing Pearl Jam Thread

Looks like I got the 2XL version of the kong print added to the database. I'll have to work on the others that were sold at the show, but I don't have the dimensions or prices for them.

Re: All-Encompassing Pearl Jam Thread

Man I would love that Kong. Were they for sale? One of the best decisions I made in my young poster career was buying that for $100 the day after the show. I thought at the time it was an obscene amount to spend on a poster. Yes, they were available. I purchased one. Every print was made in an edit...

Re: Pearl Jam NYC 10 Ames

How do I get the 2XL version added to the edition versions in the database? I know how to add new art, but I can't remember how to add new editions to existing art.

2XL version sold at an Ames Bros. gallery showing in Seattle on August 9, 2018. Dimensions are 40.5 inches x 60 inches. Edition of 100. They were/are sold for $500 unframed. They are signed, numbered, and embossed.

Re: All-Encompassing Pearl Jam Thread

Here are some of my photos from the Ames Bros. 2XL show in Seattle. All of the prints are 60 inches tall in editions of 100. I think I missed a photo of one print. It was a Santa Barbara I think? It had a cartoon guy drinking wine showing the wine going down into his stomach and the show was for a f...

Re: All-Encompassing Pearl Jam Thread

Would someone be able to update the Ames Bros listings for the 2XL versions of the posters they sold yesterday at their gallery? I think there were 10 old Pearl Jam prints that they created huge versions of and sold yesterday in their gallery in editions of 100. I can share photos later. One of them...

Re: The Rory Kurtz Thread

I think what blows me away is that movie/pop culture poster fans would pay that much for a print. As someone who got into this hobby (and on EB) because of Mondo and their prints -- even traded and paid my way to get a Stout KB -- I can't see myself ponying up ~$1k on a movie/pop-culture print now....

Re: The Rory Kurtz Thread

I'd just say that it seems like a lot to extrapolate how he wants to price and handle a tiny AP edition for a small, exclusive private commission against the norm of his usual releases - via Mondo, via timed edition sales on his site, even his normal AP pricing. Yeah it's high, god knows I neither ...

Re: The Rory Kurtz Thread

Don't you think it has the potential of doing harm if taken too far? In the sense that it can have an alienating effect on the more casual fans. And once the super passionate ones become super passionate about some other thing, the casual fans who would've remained aren't there anymore. I don't kno...

Re: The Rory Kurtz Thread

He prices them basically at market. people have been slinging offers before he posted his lotto of willing to spend $1200 on one. i think you are the ballsy one to bring up that point in the fan group. while yeah that group is very 'I WORSHIP YOU RORY ZOMG', speaking to the artist directly about hi...
