At least one better thing today in this shithole of a State I live in. I was really hoping the dens would pick up more seats in the State Congress than they did though

Re: Stock Market Discussion

Last four weeks have been brutal. Hopefully, today's the turnaround. If the market closes hire tomorrow, it will be the only back to back up days this month. Facebook earnings after hours may give momentum into tomorrow and beyond. I think we will have to wait until after the elections and even aft...

Re: America: The Trump Era

It’s decent i guess if you’re white. Same could be said about the majority of the country. I guess I wouldn’t classify Mississippi / Missouri / etc etc as decent but I get your point There are good jobs and cheap living there in ND if you are. Low taxes, good housing, etc etc. if you can handle the...

I grew up in North Dakota. Left when I was 18. Haven’t been back since. It’s decent i guess if you’re white. Out of my high school senior class of 350 kids there was one Asian girl. #diversity

Re: For Sale / Will Trade "Cleanup"

bad idea imo. time is a squared circle; one man's short term is another's long. i've bought and sold prints listed for 3+ years. just shoot a message and what happens, happens. and never forget, no response is a response. Agreed. Some people don’t feel the need or want to bump up their trades every...

Re: The 24 x 36 poster portfolio, The Art Vault is on sale!

i've never have had one of these but am considering getting one. would be a cool way to let my boys see prints. educate a rookie. how do they go in the sleeve? you just slide them in through 1 opening at the top and the other 3 sides are sealed? is it easy to bend a corner or damage the print when ...

Anyone have a good source for 24 x 36” acid free backing supports to slip into the sleeves? Having trouble finding them for a reasonable cost.

Re: Seller / Buyer Payment options for High Value Prints

With a NOLA mate, work with a gallery. You'll get a lot of tire kickers and people trying to talk price down. That's an in demand image and a gallery shouldn't have any issues selling it for you. You aren’t kidding about the people contacting me, that’s for sure. Any recommendations for good galler...

Re: Seller / Buyer Payment options for High Value Prints

Thanks for the good advice everyone. I really appreciate it. I agree, in person in a public place would make me the most comfortable as well at this point. Besides the gallery listed above, are there any other galleries that would be good to contact? How does that usually work, Is it a commission ba...

Seller / Buyer Payment options for High Value Prints

Hello I was curious as to what methods people were using to accept payments for high value pieces ($20K+). I have a print (a sign Banksy with some damage) I’m thinking of unloading one of these days to pay off some medical bills so I’m thinking from a seller standpoint, but people might be intereste...

I kind of liked the (signed) SHAG prints they did. A bit surprised the UM portfolio and the TZ prints of his are still available through DHM

Anyone previously order the 24 x 36” portfolios? Where would one get similar sized backing boards?
I checked Dick Blicks buts is like $200 for 10, which seems like a lot of money to me
