Re: RIP gigposters dot com?

Generally mean/unaccepting community over there. Meh. I'd say it's about the same as here. "Honest" communities. A little over-the-top at times. edit: I wasn't aware of there being a huge problem over there with a few bad apples. Only thing about Gigposters is that nothing much was happening there ...

Hey, welcome.

I use Wallspace Gallery (Westboro) and Framing and Art Centre (Bells Corners). I prefer Wallspace but they're a little pricey. Check them both out and see what works best for you!

Re: Adventures in Design Podcast thread

I listen to a lot of podcasts as well, but I have time to get through my favourites. I actually wish some of the episodes were longer. But 1 hour is standard, and a generous amount of time. I'll just skip 30 seconds here and there if the discussion doesn't interest me.

It's really enjoyable.

Fridays are my favourite. I save those episodes until I can't resist any more

Re: Pet Peeves- Vent Here! Let me feel your pain.

I think the argument is more that there are limited options for Princess Leia toys - so much so that the majority of them are the slave costume. There is a dearth of female character based toys for sci-fi films and Marvel films. Gamora wasn't even on the kids shirts for Guardians of the Galaxy. So,...

Next step: getting those Circle of Trust episodes into our podcast feeds. Right now it's a bit of a hassle to have to download or play them from the web site directly.

Oh, well. I guess this is what could get the masses more accepting of trans issues.
