Re: LEGO - The thread.

I think the price point is going to be enough to scare me away from buying, but I'm sure looking forward to drooling over it. Plus, the space for something that big... I like the coffee table display someone built but man alive, I don't know that i'd know where to put it. I haven't heard about this...

Re: LEGO - The thread.

Going to New York next week, is TRU in Manhattan and Target in Brooklyn the best places for checking out lego? The Lego store at Rockefeller Plaza is worth a visit. Just for the PAB wall alone. Sadly EVERYTHING in that store is marked up 10-15% over retail. They do typically have small NY related e...

Re: LEGO - The thread.

Please tell me how you plan on policing this thread for Lepin infiltration. I assure you its already rampant. Police? I'm no mod. I will continue to clown you though if you go on posting about your Lepin in the LEGO thread like you have something special. Because, you don't. Also, weak sauce. You'r...

Re: LEGO - The thread.

I collected/bought the parts to build the Green Grocer. Made some substitutions with parts, too. Lego parts.

It would've been much easier to buy a lepin grocer set but I never would have displayed/aligned that with the other modulars in my city. I mean - why would I?

Re: LEGO - The thread.

I bought knock-off Legos and I am extremely happy with them. You know the Ultimate Collector's Edition 5000+ piece Millennium Falcon that goes for over $6000. A Chinese outfit called Lepin makes an exact replica of this playset - I mean exact - and sells it for $250.00. I bought one, assuming it wo...
