Re: What is your latest proud print acquisition?

Another EB member had kindly requested that I post pictures once I received this. I usually refrain from that - I hate resizing the pictures to a presentable 800 pixels or so... plus I don't have a 'real' camera. Anyway, sorry for these very poor quality cell phone pics but they'll have to do for no...

Re: The Miss Bugs Parlor

This new work is great and all, but man I miss the parlour days.. http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5103/5886588034_376a052faf_z.jpg I'd like this on my wall. This actually hang around for a year or so. I almost bought it multiple times. In the end, someone got a deal. It hung around for nearly 2 years...

Re: Etam cru

Sorry, I'm one of the few that think this was a horseshit move. Like someone else said in the Release Discussion thread, the new Lora Zombie is here. sigh. I guess, Moonshine would look nice on a pillow. So I'll look forward to that. I'll get over it. I'm sure the signature and number will be worth ...

Re: Mantra Mandala 1 13 Cryptik

If you're a fan of the sublime script paintings by Retna or Jose Parla, or if you're merely fascinated by meditation and the Unified Field (perhaps you're a practitioner), you may find this piece by Cryptik very compelling. Please take a bit of time and check out the following video in its entirety....

Re: Top 5 Pickups of 2013 Thread!

I ran amok this year. I spent an inordinate amount of $$$ on original artwork this year, far exceeding what I normally budget... Yes, the wallet was painfully lit up supernova bright. The last of it will be paid off January 15th (what a relief that will be). Next year will be whisper quiet for me th...

Re: Moonshine 13 Cru Release Discussion 12/16/13

So there is an open edition coming out ? the next Lora Zombie ZOMG! I hope not... but you may be right. One of the Etam Cru artists, Bezt, has a ton of open edition stuff at Eyes on Walls: http://www.eyesonwalls.com/collections/bezt I'm not remotely interested in Lora Zombie anymore. I owned one or...

Re: Moonshine 13 Cru Release Discussion 12/16/13

+1 Thanks to Elisa at Art Whino. Relieved since this was my only chance. I rarely buy on the secondary market (makes me feel like a dirty whore). I think their big mistake with this drop was that they put it up there with $0.00. And people added it to their carts and checked out! Like the naive idio...

worst checkout experience in the history of Man. it says Sold Out after several minutes of being in the store on and off.... and I guess to stop everyone from adding the 0.00 item to their cart, they listed the price as $100,000.00. obnoxious.

Re: EB Death Pool

Billy Jack goes down. Tom Laughlin dies at 82 Wish I had a buck for every time I watched this movie. I loved Tom Laughlin and the Billy Jack character. Three years ago he and several members of the cast of Billy Jack (1971) were at a screening of the film at UCLA. The entire auditorium was packed a...

^ I actually added Martha Marcy May Marlene to my Netflix rental queue last week! It's currently at #2, so I'll probably watch it in a few days. I actually added it to my queue after watching the Oldboy remake. Didn't know who Elizabeth Olsen was so looked her up on IMDB and picked that one out :)

Re: What is your latest proud SKETCH acquisition?

I don't have many sketches in my collection... but here's one I acquired this past summer. One day I'll own one of Kris Lewis' paintings, but for now this will do :artist: Sorry for the poor cell phone pic... Kris Lewis - Untitled sketch study (c. 2013), pencil on paper, 8" x 9.5" Kris Lewis - Untit...
