Re: The Walking Dead on AMC

I still enjoy watching the show even though it's not living up to how much I loved watching seasons 1 and 2. Just saw this deal come up for the The Walking Dead Compendium Volume 1 and Volume 2 for $25 each, apparently a very good deal. Available at both Wal Mart and Amazon for the same price right ...

Re: LEGO - The thread.

Yesterday on a deals forum someone put up a not amazing deal for the cheaper millennium falcon set. In the comments another member mentioned that their friend works for Lego and has told them a newly updated version of the retired UCS Millennium Falcon is coming out with light up engine blocks and ...

Saaaaa-weeet the wife listened and ordered me a workshop seat! Think it's for the February workshop! My wife got the workshop for me also with plane ticket, rental, and room. I literally choked up and got teary for a minute. I hinted it to her but never expected it since I hint stuff all the...

Re: LEGO - The thread.

Finally found this set for a price I was willing to spend, took a good 3 months of bidding and losing on ebay and finally got lucky. I have almost every UCS set that I want now. Only 2 I'm still in the hunt for are the Rebel Snow Speeder and Death Star II.

I agree with this also, I want something new. Also, to me the girl (Lilly) looks too much like Maggie.

Re: LEGO - The thread.

Any idea what the specia VIP stuff for tomorrow is? Here is the UK version for the online special tomorrow, most likely the same for us. Basically it's early access for the Christmas truck if you spend enough (so all VIP's have a chance at it) and 10% off orders over whatever $$ amount. I picked up...

Re: Beer - trading & discussion

Not an IPA drinker cause I'm not a fan of all the hoppy aftertaste but I had to try this. Got used to it by my second glass, kind of a different sweetness almost taste to it. 9% alcohol. My head didn't like it too much at 2:30 when I had to go pick up the baby. I'll stick to my weak and easy to drin...

I've got the KAW #3 for all the Widespread ladies.

Jorge is awesome and I feel very lucky to have this matching set.

Re: The Walking Dead on AMC

Has that happened in the Walking Dead world? The head remaining alive post decapitation? Not that it really matters I guess. Show has no continuity with it's zombie rules. Michonne could chop a head off on Monday and it be dead when it hits the floor, then on Tuesday she could do the same and it'd ...

I've read possible rumors of triple VIP points on Black Friday. Nothing confirmed though.

Re: LEGO - The thread.

I purchased the SSD 10221 from the S@H website y'day. It's rumored to be the next big Star Wars set to retire and with double VIP points I decided it was time to buy before it's too late. I truly enjoy building the large sized sets, so building this monster should be fun. Anything over 1800 pieces o...

For as much hype as Dogfish is doing for the American Beauty, I hope it's not a let down.

I don't see why it would. Those 3 people would get a great experience, and Jay gets print that he can sell online after the class, a print that might have been made anyway.

Re: New Jay Ryan

I wish Jay could take this show on the road to other print shops like AIR in Pittsburgh. That way it would be more accessible to those like myself where Chicago is just too far away. Charge more to be in the class to cover travel and whatever shop fees that would have to be covered. Split that cost ...
