This is based on a Soviet propaganda poster from WWII, most of the original posters were small (about 8x10"). I managed to get both via eBay. My original verssion is in deep storage, but when I dig it out I'll post a pic.

Not my style, but it goes with the general theme of my collection. Scored two of these by chance, I got one and my fail-safe buyer friend got me one too, between the three of us who try to buy each week only one usually scores.

These don't seem to be exclusive to specific gallery openings, some were available at the New York show, and now they're appearing in images from the Nineteeneightyfouria show in London. These prices are ridiculous, Obey Giant might as well print U.S. Dollars, at least then it might hold its value.

Not trying to critique, I love Fairey's work, just a little something that catches my attention. despite what the kind folks over at thegiant.org may think...it actually is OK to critique Shepard's work! ....and the reason I was calling out shill bidding is that no sane person would continue to bid...

I would submit that Mujer Fatal runs on the same level. Canvas would indeed be sweet.

Santa Maria actually, I would have happily claimed SLO, but alas, not so... Central Coast sounds more elegant, at least I don't live in Guadalupe.

Looks like a great print for going into the winter season with, can't wait to see it in person. I understand shipments are storm delayed. I'm excited to see the next group of prints.

This print is done no justice online, the details are remarkable, I love Fairey's female subjects.

Following Shepard's London Show and the weak dollar, I wouldn't doubt it if we see price spikes that look like shill bidding. This piece is a nice tribute to Amanda Fairey, but I would have encouraged a little more attention to the eyes, "Mujer Fatal" is a perfect example. Not trying to critique, I ...

I just called the Toyroom (11/06/07) they have a couple of these available from people who ordered them but never paid. They are not signed or numbered, but the word is the run was only 100. It's a handsome print, when Mujer Fatal gets too expensive it may be a surprisingly good alternative.

This is a painfully sharp looking print, I had to get Dec. 9, 1965 with it. I'm anxious to see Mark's future work, I like where he's going.

This piece is awesome in person, the burgundy edition is a sleeper, but with a run of only 150, I think people will be surprised how fast it's demand increases.
