Re: Olly Moss gets his own thread

Cool.

But I wonder why the seller chose not to list on eBay first. I'd guess the sales fees would be less on the 'bay, but I have no idea what Heritage takes from completed sales.

Re: 2020 Rotten Oscars

I was stoked to see Bong win Director (not just because it was my pick), but was truly surprised and super thrilled at Parasite also winning Picture. Loved Bong’s acceptance speech and his shout outs to Scorcese (is a standing ovation for a different nominee during an acceptance speech a first?) and...

Re: 2020 Rotten Oscars

My last minute switch for Live Action short worked out, yay, but I just couldn't bring myself to pick Toy Story 4 over other noms, boo.

Eminem, not expected but I liked it, nice.

Re: 2020 Rotten Oscars

....I'm dreading the 1917 streamroller. I'm pretty sour on the idea of that film running away with awards I think are far more deserved elsewhere (Roger Deakins excepted from that, I'm always in awe of his work). I'll spare further rant about that here. Hey midday! :pint: I'm pretty sour on the ide...

Re: 2020 Rotten Oscars

Thanks for sharing the Bong Joon Ho story, RA! Very cool. I too, feel the Parasite love. Indeed it is superlative , on so many levels. I'd love to see it take home a nice haul tomorrow, alongside Once Upon a Time In Hollywood in particular. This years ballot is tough, separating films I love from th...

Re: Game of Thrones

I fully expected at least one of Jaime, Brienne or Tormund to die. But I'm glad they didn't get Walking Dead deaths. Only complaint is I wish that their individual survivals were more believably portrayed. Was sure Pod and Grey Worm were going to be done-sies. Loved how Jorah's final moments played ...

Re: Game of Thrones

Rhaegal crashed landed, but survived. He appears in a shot or two in the 'next episode' preview. Something something dragons and magic so anything can happen. Honestly I think last ep was the show mostly saying bye-bye to magic as any kind of plot driver. No more Night King, wights, or Melisandre. P...
