Most of them weren't actually printed. It's not like there's stacks and stacks of prints sitting somewhere. They're just files in the artist's computers.
I'm sure they'll eventually find a way to reuse/print them down the road.

Re: Hush

I don't mind the site crashing. We used to see it a few times a week. Good ol' days.
But the shenanigans of keeping the price a mystery up to the very last second is :vomit:
I'm guessing 2000 Euros fwiw.

Re: Pejac

Pre-sell the majority of the edition and charge everyone else an entry fee for a lotto. Not a bad racket. Use the entry fees collected to make a donation and save taxes that would have otherwise been due from profitting the sale of the edition. There's your racket. ] It wouldn't save taxes....

Re: Pejac

1k is how many entries they got for A Forest.
It was in person only. It should be much more for this one, though there was no 1 limit per person in person if I recall.. someone PB'd 20+ postcards/entry for example..

I didn't think that many people would be like shut up and take my money on a $3k print.

Re: Sandra Chevrier

Some of the details on her busts were a "hot mess".
This, however, is a quite beautiful etching/photopolymer print which required craft in the making, much more so than her usual giclees. It appears it has rendered the original sketch very accurately. I see no mess in there.
