Re: James Jean News and Releases

I didn't think that many people would be like shut up and take my money on a $3k print.

Re: James Jean News and Releases

And I thought something finally tickled my fancy enough to break my purchase hiatus. Oof.

Re: Sandra Chevrier

Some of the details on her busts were a "hot mess".
This, however, is a quite beautiful etching/photopolymer print which required craft in the making, much more so than her usual giclees. It appears it has rendered the original sketch very accurately. I see no mess in there.

Re: The Josh Keyes Thread

Member when they oversold a run of 150 and decided to make it 350, which included erasing the "1" on all prints to make it a "3".

That's how you kill a market.

Aftermarket is pretty soft on plenty of older prints with the older style though.

Re: Hush

It was nightmareish. No kidding. As far as quality goes, don't mistake them for the cheap inkjet lithos. It's the high end press lithos (marinoni?) stuff. I'm no expert, but I hear the connoisseurs swear by it over screenprinting for the finesse of the details and texture it can render. My Zach Spla...

Re: The Miss Bugs Parlor

Good thing. Would have been a shame. I remember the alu editions, but have no recollection of the magazine posters. I wasn't sold on the new print, but seeing your pics brings a new perspective, so that's a good hint of their potential in the flesh.

Re: Hush

I was referring to the (very) high price tag that should come with it and shitty after sale customer service if anything goes wrong with your order, but yup, their lithos really are top notch quality wise, as they should, considering the price tag they command.

Printthemall.. oof.
Curious to see the result. I'm sure the litho process will do his art justice, but should look a little different for sure.

Did they change their beautiful signature to these initials I'm seeing above? :?
