I'm going to take a picture of it for a few people later today. The blue one is really attractive. It is very icy. The cut prints are 12.5 x 19" I'm working on a Death Cab For Cutie poster right now that is a companion to the Trail of Dead. I am going to use a similar blue for this new one. I'll pos...

I have a special deal on both prints for people on my email list so if you're not on it, send me an email and I'll put you o...

Hey thanks. The Heartsick print was supposed to be a poster for the Tindersticks but there was a lot of rigamarole and it ended up being an art print instead. I think for the better. Check the site later this week. I'm going to sell it for $20 for a few days and then raise the price. There is also a...

Dull colors????!!!!! Bad registration????!!!!! Seriously? yeh, is it opposite day?!? You brought sunshine to my morning Doug. I've been looking at my colors tonight wondering what could be dull about them. One of my two main goals in life are having the most beautiful colors on my posters and...

I just talked to my assistant and she said that they went out last week sometime. She had over 300 of them to put in tubes so it took a while. Hold tight people.

A large percentage of the bands that I make posters for are more than alright with me coming to their shows with posters and selling them for a percentage. Some bands don't even want a percentage, they just want a few posters. These aren't always small bands but pretty large touring bands. I've real...

I'd agree that it's a "rule of thumb" and that on some smaller runs it can make sense. But my question would be when I see a run of say 30 prints, what's the point in having an A/P run of 10 to go with that? I'd personally rather see a run of 40 with no A/Ps or 40 with 4 additional A/Ps. It seems t...

That's the hope beenz ... Michael -- If you're going to start doing APs (or P/Ps) for holdback for future sales, I'd encourage you to folow the "terms" for them as they exist. The P/P is supposed to only be used in the case that a designer is not the printer. The printer or print shop can then make...

I like to sign and number all of my prints, even the ones that go up in store windows. As much as I hate it I know that not a lot of my posters make it up anywhere. If they do, I know that store employees or their friends take them home so it is cool with me that these are of the same quality as all...
