Re: Your top pickups of 2021

I ended up doing more photo prints this year, including these 2 signed Lynn Johnson prints of Mr. Rogers, the Ginsberg estate print of Kerouac, and the Brett Curry signed print of A Ghost Story. The Mann Vertigo is coming, but that will be ‘22…. https://i.postimg.cc/59LjYcvQ/5-C471-C59-819-A-48-A6-9...

Re: Bottleneck Gallery News/Rumors!

no not at all and thank you for that catch. One of the credits we received had it and the other didn't. All fixed now. Great catch tomquinn Glad it worked out! And wish I could claim credit, but my proofreading is awful. I had excitedly show the print to a screenwriter, Matt Kaufhold, who ca...

Re: Bottleneck Gallery News/Rumors!

Forgive me if this was covered somewhere, but a screenwriter friend pointed out the “written by” credit on BTTF was cropped off. Is that intentional or an error? Yea used their credits. Oh, they dropped it? I would have thought that’d be a WGA issue. The Hero Gallery one had it so just wanted to fl...

Re: Kurt Cobain – Endless Nameless 21 Fairey

Neither of those is the photo. Thanks for sharing the photos. Yeah, I had just posted them as being the likely time period/tour as that sweater collar keeps popping up in '89 and the lower angle shots always look different at that time period compared to post '91 portraits. All of which is to say, ...

Re: What is your latest proud print acquisition?

Tomquinn, nice as well. What kind of frames are those? Thanks! These are all the walnut 502a from Frame Destination. Most of the art prints in our house are in the same frame and photo prints are in their black 815. The Gabz Indy is one of the only prints I deviated on. https://i.postimg.cc/GhmPNxT...

https://i.postimg.cc/VLyGrqXZ/6-AAA5-E4-E-DA0-C-4-B3-A-9627-E1623-FABA665.jpg I just put up this Tim Gough print that pairs nicely with Mel Kadel, John Vogl, and the We The People red/blue combos in our kitchen. I just picked up some photo prints too, so need to see if there’s a thread for that. Al...

Re: What is your latest proud print acquisition?

Excited to finally get the signed/numbered one in my collection. Will be the first step of buying far less, but more desired prints and getting rid of some other stuff in the collection that will never make it on a wall. Really think it's a striking image. https://i.postimg.cc/pdNM7H9r/IMG-5027.jpg...

Avoid this douche bag! Snagged it for 180 and he cancelled on me and has it listed at 300 now. Possible to leave negative feedback? 333949060099 If you strike out on reasonable ebay offers and want a very good piece of Cobain art for a better price, I picked up a few signed prints from Charles Pete...

Did anyone here score? Something else is going on.
I did. Signed into Paypal and used the direct Paypal purchase instead of going to cart. I did the same on both RBG's as well. This all means I will whiff on every print going forward in 2021.

+1, but that was CLOSE. A buddy texted that he whiffed as my final screen was loading.
My girlfriend said it looks like a wax figure of him. I'm not quite sure that's it, but it does look pretty smooth. It's from a photo, so it's him. It's just not quite how I picture him I suppose.
I agree that something feels off, but I think it's just that it's the pre-90 period, ...

FWIW, I'd never tried for his drops before, but managed to grab both via PayPal. So, beginner's luck or CC processing was a fail.

Re: Laurent Durieux - Appreciation & Discussion

Is the Tippy Birds really selling for quadruple digits now? I finally snagged it through the Black Friday flat file drop. I got to check-out, saw it was $500, and as I confirmed my PayPal thought: geezeiguessitreallyisgoingforoverathousandihopeidon'tregretthislaterdon'thinkoryou'llmissthisbutwhatab...
